Can not delete from Batch

Using C1 8.0.1 PRO on W7

I have some images selected and placed in the batch queue. I want to remove some of them from the queue. From the documentation, this can be done with the backspace key on the keyboard. But nothing happens when doing this. ☹️

How can I remove this images, because at every start C1 aksks for processing them.

  Highlight the one to delete on the queue and then key Suppr. By me, with W7-64, it works.
