    Hello

I have the same problem which is not only "our" problem. Since C1 4, I remark that !
I don't understand why, and why it is not corrected by P1.
I work like that ! I did many tests and create recipes which I know they are good for me !

I think that they are deliberately not taking care of this question. Why nobody among the "Official" user on this forum are skipping my question?
    Hey there...!!!

Sounds like a misconception about the nature of this forum: in a user-to-user forum any contribution is completely voluntarily. When nobody feels he/she can add something to the topic that would help you, the question remains unanswered. Oh, and sometimes people are just busy doing other stuff...

I am not familiar with the concept of 'official user'. "All animals are equal" here (free quote after George Orwell, Animal Farm).

You can direct your issue directly to Phase One at any time in a support case.

Some replies from Phase One have occured here though. These can be found easily with a search. I did it for you. Here you go:
    viewtopic.php?f=40&t=9619&p=42770&hilit=jpeg+quality#p42770
    viewtopic.php?f=40&t=9619&p=42076&hilit=jpeg+quality#p42076

    Hope this helps.

Thanks Paul but the links that you give to me are not about the problem I'm talking about.
The problem is the following: example, I decide to save a jpg at 72dpi 1200x896px at Quality 20. Capture One show me how big will be the processed file saying 249kb. Then the processed file is absolutely not 249kb but instead is 488kb(calculated via file info in the Mac Os Leopard) that is double.
This is really disappointing when you are saving low res for a website.
    Is the problem clear now?
    Many thanks,
    Guido.

Hi Guido, I understand the problem: the file size indicator in CO6 is way off. Best to open a support case and do a request to Phase One to put this on their to-do list.

Just came on here to ask about this. Looks like a bug.

I am having a problem getting a decent web size image. Saving a 1000x667 pixel image at level 10 the summary says I should get a 127kb file. However, it's generating a 418kb file. If I go to level 0 I get a 407kb file. I'm looking for something like a PS Save for Web 55 file which gives me 130kb. So, I think there's something wrong here.

The work around is go through Photoshop when file optimization for web is important. I hope they fix this soon.
