Session Corrupted-Database connection FAILED-HELP!
I have created and worked on the session for 2 shoot days. Also, I worked in Photoshop and save the final retouched files in the output folder.
Just now, I cannot open my session in C1 and when I view the folders using Finder, all the files I shot on the 2nd shoot are all gone, including the psd folders I worked on the 2nd shoot. Funny, what I shot and retouched on the first shoot are still there.
CaptureOne11 attempts to do a verify and repair, but returns with "Database connection FAILED. The requested document type is not recognized. The provided database is of an unknown type". This happened after I did a forced quit on C1 then reopen C1. It was working fine before that.
I really need help with this. If you know any way to fix this or know a programmer who is able help me please send them my way. I can pay for the help to fix the issue.
Thank you!!!

In the future, best to create a support case at support.phaseone.com
Sounds like the session has become corrupt - the good news is that this will not affect the images.
Launch Capture One while holding the Option key (Shift key on PC). This will prevent the previous session form opening. From that window, create a new session. In the new session, browse to the folders of images in the old session. Do they load properly? If so we are good to go and you can replace the session:
Delete the cosessiondb file from the session folder. Once you create a new session, replace the new (empty) Capture Folder with the old Capture Folder from the corrupt session. From there follow suite with the Selects, Output and Trash folder if necessary. And Voila, the new session works just as the last. Open it by double clicking on the .cosessiondb file. Add in any favorite folders you had.0
