Style name placed in IPTC caption
Hi All,
I've never used Styles that much, usually just apply settings from an adjusted image. I recently set up a style for a job and then noticed after placing processed proofs on my web server that the IPTC caption has "Style: Style Name" in it. How do I stop this?
Thanks,
MT

I've never figured a way to get around it other than to manually go in and remove it. I also discovered it when uploading images to my website. I'm sure Phase One would say it's a problem with the website and how they handle captions. I kind of wish either Phase One and/or my web server would give me an option to ignore adding caption information. 0 -
I'll probably just remove it in a script I already run on the images before uploading. What makes the developers think I want the Style used placed in the Caption? This probably could have been done by letting the user place tags, ( i.e. <style> ) in this case, in the IPTC field that you would want the style info or other info to show up in if you're using it. Additionally it's placement in the Caption field doesn't really follow the IPTC standard since it is not a description of the content of the image.
