    If so, it's a product of digital photography where the pixels match the detail resolution and the camera can't figure out what to do. Similar to Moiré.

    It is in both the raw and output files. It is not like the example linked to. It's very much like this

    Is the pattern affected by ISO setting?

    I've only seen that once before and in that specific case it was a failing camera. It was a Canon but I'm not sure the model and service was the only solution.

    I can't say that it's the case here and it would be best to check the same image in Canon's own software to see if it's interpolation on a software side or physically in the file from the camera.
