batch problem

Hi,
I update C4.6 on my mac book Pro intel core 2 duo 2,5Gh MacOS 10.5.6,
I made a session with new photo and edit 10 pix with 4 tag all.
I develop with selection " Process Selected Variant".
It' really slow to begin the devolop and the tool it doesn't work very well.
Other question, I made a new process recipes jpeg with 90% quality, 100 DPi 20% Scale.
In summary process the filesize is 519 KB, but the final file in the folder is 136KB... Why it does not write the real size with 90% quality?

I wrong? Where?

  I do not understand the problem from your description ("the tool it doesn't work very well"); rather vague. Which tool, what does/does not work?

  Yes it's does not work, it work like CO3, when select more file and clic process, it process all the pictrures. "Process selected variant" in CO4.6 is "inutile" in Italian I don't know the english word...

  inutile (It) = inutile, useless, pointless (En)
  With multiple images selected in CO 4.6 you can apply an action to ALL images or to the "Primary Selected Only". So you have both options and the ability to work with either option at any time to your liking. Useless? I must miss here something.
