InC1 3.7.8, I could make a new camera profile with increased saturation and save it. To do that in the new C1 4.6, would I save that info as a style and apply it? Are styles applied only when tethered? I can't see that it is doing anything. I have a Canon 1ds Mark III.

  You could do that but you could also work the same way. Create profile (if necessary) and apply it. Not a tethering geek myself, I think that the workflow is that you apply the profile after a particular shot and then in the Capture tab you set ICC Profile: copy from last or primary whatever fits best.

  I guess the reason I asked that is that I don't see how to save the camera profile. I could only figure out how to save a style.

  Go to Color Editor. On the tool's title bar, at the right, click on the small triangular shape and choose 'Save as ICC Profile'.
