CO4 on Win x64 Pro
I was trying to launch the programme, and this is the error from the application event viewer that I found after not being able to actually launch the programme.
I've installed it twice after completely uninstalling it, but it won't launch. I'm very frustrated.

Does anyone have any ideas??
I've logged a support case, but all I seem to get back is that they think I'm using my Nikon D2Xs tethered.
This NOT the case... I just can't get the application to launch.
Thanks for any insight.

Winston,
I think two issues occur here.
One issue is the Phase One 1394 Camera Driver that does not load. I think this driver is NOT from CO4 but from CO3.7.x PRO. Did you happen to install this on you WinXP x64 machine as well? If that is the case, it would load indeed because it is not an x64 driver and/or it is not a signed driver (x64 has a more rigid driver policy I believe). Again, this has nothing to do with CO4 but created confusion with Phase One support (working tethered question).
The other issue is whether CO4 is x64 compatible. Not tried myself yet and not read any YES or NO from Phase One's side. I suggest you open a support case with that question alone and let us know.0 -
I am not on my xp x64 machine, but it works on vista x64 and I am pretty sure it also works on xp x64, execpt from the first beta! however the later are working

I have currently CO4 running on both WinXP Pro x64 as well as Vista Business x64 (with SP1 RC). The application installed and started up in trial mode without any problem.
The hardware I am using? For this test only I run them in a virtual machine (VMware Fusion) on my MacBook Pro. 😂0
