Dissapearing folder selection

I am still on my trial version of C1 and apperture, leaning towards C1 4, but now I have picked up a strange bug that I can't sort.

Everytime I do a bulk/batch process (whether 5 files or 150) after about 3 or 4, all of a sudden, C1 loses the folder selection (the batch process continues) so for me to continue, I have o reselect the folder and navigate back to where I was.

I didn't do this in the beginning, so I am a bit mystified as to the condition. I tried searching but didn't get any serious results that matched this (sorry if it has been discussed)

    This has not been discussed before (to the best of my knowledge). Sounds weird. Do you use the maintenance update 4.0.1.14900 already?
    If it persists, you might want to log a support case at the Phase One web site (I am aware you're still in trial mode, not sure you want to do the effort).

    Yep!

    It is a maintenance release, always worth a try.

    So... should I just re-download the software and install over the previous installation? Will it keep my presets? or should I first uninstall the original?

    (sorry for my ignorance!)

    Ok... I downloaded the newer version. I have about 4 days of trial left, so I decided to go ahead on a limb and buy it.

    Activated all right (allthough there was an error on the terms and conditions page... but, I digress)

    Nope.. the problem persist. I will load it onto another MBP and see if the problem remains

    Yep... sounds similar...

    However, my images are all on a local drive (all processing happens local, and then gets moved to other drives) so there is no posibility of a wireless connection drop or DHCP re-issuing IP's or something to that vein.

    It also only happens (or the only instances it has happened so far) is during processing of batches, otherwise I can work fine... no troubles.
