adding gps data to metadata
sometimes the only option available is for me to take a photo with my iphone so I'll have the gps data for a particular shot. I can't find a way to add that data to an image after it's been imported to Capture One (I'm running C1v10 on a Mac). I don't know enough about apple script to write a script (if that's even possible)...is there another way to add gps data to the metadata after the image has been imported?

I've had success using HoudahGeo. It's best to import the image onto my Mac outside CO, encode the geodata, then import the images into CO - though it can be done the other way by reloading metadata in CO.
Check it out. I think there's a free trial.

If you use iphone, try gos4cam pro. It works on the background when you turn it on and once you finish your travel, you take a picture of a QR code. Then you run the app on your PC or Mac and based on that QR code, it adds all the gps data to the images. You dont need to set up your camera date/time or anything at all. Ive used it on my several trips, and it works perfectly. 0 -

Interesting. I use Trails on my iPhone to create a log that can be downloaded and used by HoudahGeo.0
