Import tif files in CO1
Hello All,
Newbie here. Just bought CO to replace LR. Very happy with it, still learning a lot!
I face an issue tough, I just scanned some 6*6 BW neg film and saved them as TIF files. But am unable to see them in the import dialog.
The View setting in the main menu is to show all.
Any ideas anyone?
TIA,
BrunoC

Hi Bruno,
There are a number of posts in the forum related to this. To see them all try a search using something like "scanned tif".
In summary C1 will not read Tif files that- - have an Alpha channel
- are B&W rather than colour scans
- may exceed some file size constraints (too big or, in some cases that are likely to apply only to jpgs, too small.)
- may exceed certain image dimensions (too big usually but just possibly too small although again that normally suggests jpg files
You will uncover further discussions in the threads found using the search. (Or a similar search).
If none of them apply to your situation .... you may have found something new!
HTH.

Also make sure you have checked 'Enable TIFF editing' in Edit -> Preferences -> Image. 0 -
Thanks Grant, scanning in color mode made it work! 0 -
