    Hello

What camera are you trying to connect?

I am using a Canon D5... and now it just stalls trying to connect - I solved the problem on the older Ti G4 laptop by simply restarting and creating a new session! But on the NEW DUO CORE - I am still not able to connect. I have confirmed that all on the camera and the USB must work and be setup correctly otherwise it would not work on my other computers - so it must be something within the NATIVE software version of CaptureOne or in the Laptop OS???

We have found an issue with Mac OS 10.4.6 and the Canon componentes that allows us to connect direct between computer and a Canon 5D
Only current work around is to downgrade to Mac OS 10.4.5

Thank you for that info - when will this problem be corrected? I can reinstall Tiger no problem - but to keep on top of which updates or not to apply to the DUOCORE is a pain to manage... are we talking a week or more for a patch? I assume that you mean there is only a problem with the NATIVE VERSION of Capture One for the DUO-CORE because it is working on the G4.

it is a problem on Intel based machines running 10.4.6 too. They have known about the problem for at least 2 weeks, and I am hoping for a speedy solution. 10.4.6 solves some power consumption problems on a MacBook Pro.

Any idea when something is coming, PhaseOne? downgrading to 10.4.5 was a short term 'band-aid' solution, and time is running out.

would it be possible to make 3.7.3 available as a temporary fix?
i have just purchased .4 to shoot tethered with the 5D but for various reasons do not want to have to mess with my OS
are we talking a week or months???!

it is just VERY frustrating becasue on an Intel machine, 3.7.4 is SO much faster than 3.7.3. I'm hoping for some sort of timeline.

i have just discovered the downloads archive on the phaseone website, so .3 will have to do until this issue is resolved

Keep both Application .3 and .4.
Basicly rename the 3.7.4 folder by adding \"3.7.4\"after CAPTURE ONE PRO \" reinstall 3.7.3 and name that folder \"3.7.3\" after CAPTURE ONE PRO
I even go so far as to add 3.7.4 at the end of the application name so I know what version I'm clicking on in the dock.
Use 3.7.4 for processing files and use 3.7.3 for shooting teathered any Canon cames that shoots USB 2.

    Enjoy
