Capture not reading settings

New to the forum - hope you can help!
Bad day at the office - picked my pc up and brought the while lot home with me to keep working. I have started work on a folder of images, processed only half of them before getting home. Folder is on the C drive of my machine mydocs/mypics/myrawfolder and within the folder is the CaptureOne folder with the Cache and Settings45 folder. When I open my image folder in captue it isn't reading any of the settings that I have previously worked on.
Any suggestions please?
Running Capture One 4 on pc os XP Pro
