Capture one 7.x & 15-inch 2.7Ghz Retina MacBook Pro

What are your experiences with the new super fast 15-inch 2.7Ghz Retina MacBook? Is the differences as big as you would expect compared to e.g. late 2011 models? USB3.0 cameras & USB3.0? Retina sharpness? OpenCL on auto?

    All current (2012) MBP models are great, in particular with an SSD, 16 GB RAM. OpenCL is supported.

    Note that a model refresh is just around the corner.

    I've got the December 2012 / 15" / 2.6Ghz / 16GB RAM / SSD MBP and it's a dream, particularly with the minor update to CO Pro that came out a few days ago.

    Some of the problems like the MBP heating up, to what I considered excessive, but that everyone else dismissed as normal, appear to have been resolved.

    Just testing OpenCL now as I had it switched off prior to the update due to instability. Will report back.

    Cool, i had no idea OpenCL was supported on the 15" rMBP - I had originally turned it off due to all the complaints in here. I'll also test it out later tonight and report back 😊

    Open CL has been supported for a while.
