    Hopefully.
The SL is on my shopping list and will replace my Canon 1Dx next year.

While not ideal, I believe the Leica SL uses the same sensor as the Leica Q, so selecting the Leica Q ICC profile may work as an interim solution. As-is, does C1 v9 open a Leica SL file?

Why would you spend upwards of 10.000 Euros ( between camera and lenses) to open the file with a half fast interim solution??? I do not understand the logic of this. all that money and you get a lousy image??

How do you know if it's lousy image quality - have you tried? Do you have an SL? The Leica Q and SL use the same sensor and very likely the same internal camera processing for DSP for packing the DNG (both use the same Maestro II CPU).

I suggested this an INTERIM solution because maybe, just maybe somebody doesn't want part of their files in a LightRoom library while waiting for C1 to add support. The SL has only been shipping for ~5 weeks.

My SL will arrive in a couple of days.
I will try to use C1 but I' don't think that this will be sucessful. If this doesn't work I will use Lightroom as a workaround until C1 will support the SL.

BTW: Pentax, Hasselblad and Phase One IQx50 uses the same sensor. But I would bet, that you cannot open a Hasselblad image in C1.

I would not hold your breath that CO will support any other Medium Format camera ever. Yes, all the MF cameras use the same sensors, going far back, either Delsa or Kodak sensors, now using the Sony 50 cmos sensor, so other than reading the Raw format they should be able to handle it. But after submitting multiple Feature request they basically came out and said will never happen.
