Changing the font of a watermark

I am trying to change the font of a watermark, to do this I click on the '...' next to Font and a window pops up allowing me to change the font and do a few other more sophisticated things with fonts. Now the problem I have (and I don't seem to be able to figure it out) is how I exit this window and apply the changes? Each time I exit the window the changes are lost.

  After 3 years with the same problem (Mac) I accidentally found the cause/solution: having the Tools auto-hide ON is what causes this.
  To successfully change the font/size you MUST (temporarily) disable tool auto-hide so that the watermark text window does NOT disappear/close as soon as you press the font "...", then any change will take effect immediately and you can close the font dialog window normally.
