    ...not that i know of (but I have never felt the need.) If I did, i would simply move (or copy) the selected by rating images to another folder....

    thanks John, - we use it a lot in LR, guess it just suits our workflow. For us it's a big minus for CO. Never a big fan of moving files around as with shoots like this last one (7 days solid in studio) splitting into folders just for the sake of looking at ratings is not really an option.

    will look at how we can change workflow but would think it a fairly widely used feature and simple to have implemented. Our Hasselblad software also has this ability so it's not just a Adobe thing

    From the Edit menu you can select by rating and colour tag.

    You can also sort by a several different parameters which, in part, would provide something close to what you want quite quickly.

    Alternatively if you use Smart Albums you can establish virtual collections based on multiple selection parameters. I think this is probably what you are looking for.

    Bear in mind that each time you open an Smart Album the C1 will need to scan the active folders in the session in order to check latest status.

    I can't offer an opinion of functionality and performance compared to LR as I have not used LR for a while.
