Exporting Files in Sequence
Hi fellow Photographers,
I've been trying a few times to have my batch of photos export in sequence that it was taken. I've no luck in getting it done.. Been reading and finding for solutions but can't seem to find any.. I'm not sure if I've done something wrong somewhere but my photos are being exported not according to how it was taken. I've been using lightroom and was making a switch.. much more controls in Capture one but some simple steps were made complicated too.. Can anyone enlighten me on this? Will be very much grateful!! 🙄
Cheers!

I've tried to find a solution either, but didn't succeed. What I do now is on export I start the filename with date\time tokens such as yymmdd-hhmm_filename that was the only workaround I could find. In photolibraries such as Dropbox it do work. Maybe this could solve your problem.

oh dear, so I guess its a software issue of not recognising the files in the time sequence its being taken in.. I hope the developers will look into this issue.. I was hoping its more of me not knowing how to use the program.. Thanks for the suggestion.. will give it a try.. 😭 0 -

It has more to do that on export the filedate is changed to the date the export is made, not the original date. It would preferable if this could be changed.0 -
It looks to me like when its exporting, the program does not follow a sequence in exporting. Instead it just randomly goes about picking any image and export along the way.. This maybe the case for many photos selected.. But when I tested it with just 3-5 images, It works fine..
Something just seems to be amiss.. If the program recognises the images dates and time, funny why it does not export out accordingly and naming the files according to the sequence for the tokens.. Could the broken link be within the Tokens themselves? of the way the program exports multiple images..
Great program but still some issues to iron out..0 -
