Media Pro: Is there a way to compare folders?
I'm totally new to MP and bought it to use as a DAM application to sort, catalog, and index some 20,000 images (mostly scanned 35mm film). Besides being new to MP I'm also not a pro photographer, just a rank amateur who's taken many shots over 50 years, so please be patient. 😂
What I'd like to be able to do is have two catalog folders open at the same time so I can compare images and differences or similarities between the two. That way I'd be able to consolidate and trash as needed.
I've already used ACDSee's Duplicate Finder but for some reason it hasn't identified all duplicates.
So is there a way to split the MP window into two sections? Or is there another answer that will help me?
Many thanks,
-Tod

Hello from France.
You mean : compare photos from the same MP catalog ?
Maybe you can create catalog with thumbnails to the biggest size (640 pixels) ; then you can compare easily your pics. It is simple to move one photo to any place by using the mouse (clic and drop). Of course, you can think that 640 pixels is not enough ☹️0
