Transition from C1 8.2 Windows to 8.2 Mac

I'm planning to upgrade my windows pc with a mac (macbook). I'd like to know (if anyone has already done this) how to better planning the transitions.
Here is the situation:
- I have done a backup of both CaptureOne and Phase One directory under AppData directory. Can I simply put that directory on the correct forder on mac? (this folder contains export presents, my developing presets, imports, etc)
- I currently use the catalog (file .cocatalog) with images on an external RAID USB 3 hard drive (NTFS). I don't know if (besides obviously relocate the directory of the raw images) I have to do something different than simply reopen the cocatalog file under osx
Anyone has already done this?

  Hi,
  
  Catalog is not a problem. If the Images are outside catalog you need to tell them the new location of your images. Its because Windows works with Drive letters and OSX with Directories
  
  You can copy your Capture One directory from Windows to ~/Library/Application Support/ ob your Mac, but not all Settings are compatible (Workspaces are not as example)

  In theory this is correct. Note however that there has been an issue with this scenario in the past. Note recently tested on this.
  
  I suggest you start with a small catalog, which makes testing easier, and migrate that from Windows to Mac.
