what kind of video card for C1 6?

Are on-board graphics like the Radeon 4290 enough to speed up C1 6? Or does it benefit even more from faster graphics cards? What should I be looking at in a graphics card? RAM? Clock speeds? Memory bandwith? Number of stream processors? (I'm not a gamer, just interested in speed improvement for C1)

Are all current ATI and NVidia cards compatible with open CL?

  I've found and read knowledge base article 1720 in the mean time. Seems onboard graphics are not supported? "number of cores of the GPU": does that refer to number of stream processors?

  Is it really necessary to have video card with at least 1 GB (Ati)? Then I need 2 new videocards for two computers. 😕
