    This is working correctly (I'll be happy to provide samples) my guess is that you are using a Tamron lens which is providing wrong information to your camera. Try out a Canon lens and you will see it is working correctly.

    yes, the shot was taken with a Tamron lens.

    We have had a earlier case with a 200-500mm Tamron lense, I believe this is not the lens you had considering the focusing distance where by we would be greatful if you could provide us with information on which lens you where using, focus range and model name.

    This is the update and reply from Tamron:

    \"Unfortunately, the lens 28-80mm F3.5-5.6 is not compatible for digital
    camera.\"

    The only lenses from Tamron (According to Tamron) that is supported is the Tamron Di lenses which are made for digital photography.
