MP 1.4 doesn't display images correct

After updating to MP 1.4 and opening a catalog to view an image (jpeg) that image displays 10% and very soft in Light Table. Though it is scaled to fit. I cannot change this size, the program doesn’t react on this. The size stays 10% also in the Media mode.
This problem I have on my notebook Windows 7 64 Home, 4GB and on my desktop Windows 7 64 Pro, 16GB, 120GB SSD, etc. The updates are separate downloaded.
I don’t know it has something to do with it but at installing the proposed language is German (in NL). Of course you can change this but normally it is English.
I have uninstalled version 1.4 and installed 1.3.1 anew (proposed language English) and 1.3.1 works!
