Capture One 8.0.1 & Yosemite & Canon EOS 60D
Hi There,
CO 801, Yosemite & 60D worked well until the Camera went into sleep/standby modus. After this CO was not able to find the camera anymore. actually CO hangs trying to connect to the camera.
I could work the whole afternoon shooting lots of pictures but from one the other minute it is not possible anymore. I restarted the system (also with holding the shit key), deleting any cash files with mac keeper, reinstalled it.
I am very like to say that this is not an Yosemite error as the program worked well.
A patch or quick is really appreciate ....

This actually isn't a Yosemite issue (yay).
There's a script you can use that a great guy put together to restart the 'engine' as opposed to the whole of Capture One.

But good luck getting a fix for this....0 -

Let's make this the quote of the week. 😂
There are a few areas in Capture One that are most prone to errors due to operating system changes. One is graphics/video, another is tethering. Both rely on how the OS talks with the hardware. If it changes, the application often has to be fixed. Unfortunately, besides Phase One probably also Canon (or Nikon) has to revise their software. We will see.0 -
If you ran Mac Keeper to "clean up" the mac you may have inadvertently destroyed the Capture core server.
Canon's SDK is still 32 bit and the binary is identified as "unnecessary" in a 64 bit environment. It is therefore deleted by Mac Keeper...
You will probably need to re-install the application to restore the components if you see the symptoms outlined below:
