Problem and Need Help
Hi Everyone:
I got a Canon 5D the other day and love it. I shoot everything in raw, use IView for workflow, then copy into a Capture One folder, make adjustments and then export into Photoshop CS3 for final changes before saving etc. However, I get some really funky images when I import the RAW files into C1P. Please look at the link and help me understand why this is happening so often. I don't recall having this issue frequently with my 10D.
Thanks,
John

I assume that you've been using C1Pro for a while.
did you try to delete the Capture One Setting folder?
did you try to bypass the iView step?0 -
Yes, I have been using for a while and LOVE it. But, to answer your questions:
1. No, I have not tried to bypass IView
2. No, I have not tried to delete C1P folders.
I will do this tomorrow and report back.
Thanks,

I'm not very familiar with iView since I almost only use C1.
If not shooting tethered, I work this way...
I import the files with C1 in a new session (instead of browsing to the folder withing C1)
I do all the adjustment in C1...
Works like a charm for me...
I have a few destination profiles... for High Res I use
CMYK WebCoated SWOP v2 / 16bits TIFF files0
