color of the eyes for reproduction the iris

They have asked me to take some pictures of a human eye so they can re-produce the iris.

I'm shooting in SONY ARW (raw) and use C1-pro for sony to convert the picture to JPEG.

I think, maybe I can take a picture including a little piece of a "gray-card".
At home, in C1, I can select the WB with the pipet, touching the "gray-card".
In that case, I have the right color of the iris....

What would you do in this case???? ❓ ❓

    As long as the light source is the same for your image of the grey card, you will be able to work in this manner. The key is that the light source must be the same and your reference is a proper grey card.
