8.2 with NVIDIA Video Driver 350.12
Hi all.
Just two words to say that on my PC (Win7 Enterprise, SSD 512GB, 16GB RAM, equipped with a GeForce GTX 750 Ti), I've experienced loads of troubles after having installed latest NVIDIA Drivers (Rel. 350.12 of april 13Th).
First of all the tiny image you can use to scroll the photo once you've enlarged it to 100% doesn't shows the image itself but a confused amount of coloured pixels only.
This could be annoying, but I can live with it (in a first instance I thought about a little bug in 8.2, since I've recently updated from 7).
The big problem showed up today.
After having adjusted 4 new pictures, I converted them in JPG and found that only one of the files was useful. The other 3 files were 8 to 12Kb big only, with no image inside.
After some PC reboot, a reinstallation of 8.2 version and some other tests, I've tryed to develop the picture WITHOUT using OpenCL Acceleration.
This was a lot slow, but worked (even if not perfectly: one of the files showed a "banding" in the upper side of the photo).
Then I've downloaded previous Rel. 347.88 of video driver from NVIDIA's website and installed it.
After that, fortunately, I found that everything work perfectly well even with OpenCL "active" 😊
I hope this experience could avoid some headache to other otherwise happy 8.2 owners 😉

Hi Christian,
Thanks that also fixed the blown highlights issue I reported earlier but for some reason the check for updates function didn't find 8.2.20 -
Thank you very much, Christian.
I'll do it ASAP 😊0
