shooting to Shared folder for speed ?

Has anyone ever heard that shooting tethered to the shared folder will speeds up downloads? and writing to the shared folder only takes four permissions, while writing elsewhere takes twelve. So it speeds it up just a tad. I'm curious to see if its writing with a P25 OR 45 is faster or not. javascript:emoticon(':roll:')

  Shooting to the shared folder is in theory more secure than say the desktop as less permissions means less things to fix in the event of system or HD failure. Its a topic in Walter Borchenko's book: Capture One Advanced Craftmanship.
  
  As for speed increase... probably not a noticeable one.
