Import from CF and maps by date
Hello
I have a questions:
When importing pictures from a CF card/portable disk, Select create MAP by date.
Senario:
Two dayys work, files from two different date on the same card.
Then I expect :
Map 1: 081209
Map 2: 081210
(Given YYMMDD as date format)
In C1 : 4 i get date and time as MAP name from the first picture file found!
Who has the need for having a time stamp added to the date? Have I missed someting?
I often take travel picture for at least one week, backup on a portable harddisk with a CF reader and connect it to my computer. In Windows this is not a problem, I use Breesys.com:s downloaderPro, but on the Mac I havet found a solution, and hoped C1 has the solution.

Solution on Mac, comparable to BreezeBrowser plus Downloader Pro (both from Breeze Systems) on Windows is PhotoMechanic (from CameraBits) and is available for Windows as well.
I migrated from Windows to Mac a few years back and used DP+BB on Win. Now with PM on Mac I am as equally happy if not happier with the import/download and rename tool.0 -

But I guess this would be easy to fix in C1 Pro to get it even more inline with a useful workflow.

Current import functionality op CO 4.5.x is rather rudimentary (ehh, rather basic 😉 ). Improvements expected, timeframe unknown.0
