Is there a way to wireless tether a Nikon D800 to Capture One Pro, either with a Nikon wireless adapter or

Now that the IQ2 backs have wireless support, can this be done with a DSLR?

Bruce,
The IQ2 does not factor into this workflow, and to a degree neither does Capture One.
If you can shoot wirelessly from your Camera to your Computer then you can use Capture One to access the location of those files and, though not direct, shoot wirelessly.

However, a very useful and interesting workflow in the Nikon D4 allows you to shoot via Ethernet connection. This works quite well in Capture One as the software (more accurately the OS) has no clue that you are using an ethernet. The Nikon software simply "ports" the ethernet connection to be viewed/treated as a USB connection so we happily plug along as if you were using USB. It's pretty great.
That said, check with Nikon software for the Ethernet connection, perhaps there is an option to do something similar with a wireless connection as the camera and ethernet IP are "Paired". The resulting "paired" connection is then masked as a USB connection. My guess is something similar is possible with Wireless.
At the end of the day, it's up to Nikon and not Capture One, to make this available.0
