Renaming tokens
Is there a way to rename a file and only use the file number of the image? I cannot find any token except "Image Name" that gives me the file number, but then I also get the file number prefix.
I try to rename a Fuji image from _DSF4703.RAF to XP2-year/month/day_4703.RAF, but can only manage to get XP2-year/month/day__DSF4703.RAF. I don't want the _DSF part in the name. It is easy to do in Lightroom, but I cannot find out how to do it in Capture One. Is it possible?

For a single file, you can edit its name from the Browser strip if View > Browser Labels is set to "Edit mode".
For several files, you can try a Batch Rename (select your pictures, then right-click > Batch Rename) based on text content (Find & Replace), asking to replace "_DSF" with "". Then your files will be named xxxx.RAF instead of _DSFxxxx.RAF.0 -
Right, but I also want to be able to do the renaming during import. I miss a numbers token. 0 -
I can edit image file name in camera and solve the problem for coming images. However, I still think Capture One should add another token. In Bridge there is a token named "Image Unique ID" that gives the file number only, fetched from the exif data, and Capture One should be able to do the same. 0 -

Bear in mind that this is a User to User forum.
To register an Enhancement Request officially create a Support Case and start the Title with "Enhancement Request:" followed by a summary of the suggestion and a more compete description in the body of the text.
That way the idea will be registered, discussed for potential development by the development team and, hopefully, at some point included in a release.
HTH.
