Finally tested my Belkin Thunderbolt hub.
Greeting everyone
The Belkin thunderbolt express dock works perfectly.
On my iMac 27inch (Maxed out) and my 2013 retina 15inch (maxed out), both running OS X.8.3, Capture 7.1.1
YES! a Phase 1 P65+ works in the FW 800 port on the Tbolt hub,
and without a battery consistently (Although as a Digital Tech I listen to Phase One and have the back powered by it).
It shoots to the internal 3TB fusion drive, a OWC 480 SSD in the Helio Tbolt enclosure and a bus powered USB3 drive connected to the Tbolt hub.
It also works flawlessly with the D800 plugged directly into the hub shooting at USB3 speed with C1 Pro 7.1.1.
Downloading to 8 gig cards from two Lexar USB 3 card readers is fast! For multiple camera shoot scenarios downloading to RAID or SSDs from a laptop/iMac this is a game changer.
I connected older Apple 23in display to it while connected to my iMac through the Tbolt hub without a problem.
Later I check what resolutions aren't available for the iMac and 15" MBP.
More testing to come with dual screen operations
I'm kind of curious how this would work with a non UB3 mac. Just to make sure the hubs builtin 3 USB3 ports are
working at USB3 speed
The Belkin hub is a powered device and requires OS X.8.3

Thanks Chicago's Pro Gear Rental for the use of their cameras for my testing.

Thanks for the info Brian.
The Belkin specs say USB 3.0 speed on the thunderbolt hub is at 2.5 Gbps. I thought USB 3.0 runs at 5 Gbps. Is there a speed difference if you connect directly to the USB 3.0 port on the imac?
