5.0.2 losing its place in the thumbnails

I'm using 5.0.2 to edit RAW files. As I proceed through a series of thumbnails using the down arrow key, C1 repeatedly loses track of what the next image should be. Sometimes pushing the down arrow key causes the preview to come up blank and sometimes the preview reverts to an image that I already edited a few minutes before. This completely interrupts the flow of my edit and I lose track of what's been edited and what hasn't been.
My ability to efficiently edit my shoots is greatly diminished by this dynamic. I am using the latest Macbook Pro running OS 10.6.2. RAW files are from a Canon 1Ds Mark III.

The keyboard shortcut for Select Next/Previous is Cmd+cursor Right/Left (see Edit menu). This works independent from position of thumbnails (below/right) and independent from where the cursor is (might be in a tool or have focus on second Viewer). Maybe it also helps for not loosing track like you described.

This seems to be fixed in the new upcoming version of C1.
