Generating Thumbnails redundantly
Just launched CO 20 (13.1.1) and it is rebuilding thumbnails for my entire library (estimates 19 hours!).
What has happened that it would rebuild these, and could I have caused it by inadvertently clicking something I shouldn't have?

Hello, When I upgraded (and subsequently downgraded) C1 from 13.1.0 to 13.1.1 it did not ask me to rebuild or trigger itself to rebuild. When I first installed C1 after my move from Lightroom, it did take approximately 20 or so hours to build the thumbnails. The only things I can think would cause a rebuild are if the Preview Image size in preferences has changed or if you selected Regenerate Previews from the Image menu.
I have not had it try to rebuild the previews off the back of a version upgrade before.

Is this the first time you have run 20.1.1?
Have you run any Windows updates since you last ran C1?
Beyond that I would echo what mark has already written.

None of those apply. We had a power outage a few days ago that caused everything to shut down abruptly. I'm blaming that until I learn otherwise.

Update
I closed CO before it finished with the thumbnails, shut down my PC, and went to lunch. Came back and powered the box up, relaunched CO, and it didn't try to regenerate Thumbs. Works fine now.
No idea what happened, but hopefully its in the past now.
