changing browser background color to white in Windows 10?

I may be overlooking something obvious, but is this possible in the browser as well as the viewer?  If it is, how does it work?

  The browser background can't be changed (at least I don't know about) but the viewer background can be changed on two ways: By the menu View (not sure if this is the correct English  name, I'm on a German language version), go down to Viewer - and Viewer Customization - Background, here are some color schemes offered. You can also select/change it to the left or right of the displayed photo by right-clicking on the free background area
