Many modern lenses (most in reality) have embedded profiles that are communicated to the camera body and therefore "fixed" in the file produced.
Historically C1 would go to the trouble of creating their own profiles for each lens if they felt there was some benefit and in more recent times if they felt they could offer something over and above the lens manufacturer's own efforts.
If not (or of there has been no obvious use of the lens amongst C1 users nor specific requests for support) they may feel that the results are acceptable as they are and that going through their own testing process offers no benefits.
I note that the lens manufacturers are also active in the production of software fixes for operational issues with their lenses and, in the case of Tamron and this lens for example, some bodies from some manufacturers. On that basis perhaps it is appropriate to let them sort out any anomalies rather than try to make further adjustments that in some cases may become obsolete quickly or perhaps even counterproductive?
If you still think there is a valid case for requesting a C1 profile then you can make a support request using this link.

I am curious.
Do embedded profiles in the lenses contain distortion correction data? All I have ever seen in the EXIF is the special hex values which identify the lens and the maker. Such as Lens Info, Lens Make, Lens Model, Lens Serial Number. These values are then cross referenced into a table on your computer (by the photo editing sw) for all of the distortion and what not values.
Thanks,
Kevin

Try ExifTool.
It will show them if they are there.0
