How to apply layers in presets?

Hello,

I tried to create a preset for importing pictures with layers applied.

For example: I have some basic settings, lights etc. And also a layer "Filmsimulation XYZ" with 30% strenght.

The preset doesnt save this. It doesnt apply any layer at all. The checkmarks for the layers are checked while saving the preset.

How can I do this?

    You can't. A style or preset does only include adjustments or adjustments to a layer. Not the layer and its mask.

    Ok, this sounds strange because it is possible to copy and paste exactly this to any picture I want. Even with the opacity settings. I mean, its saved in the clipboard, no?

    Iam not an expert but I would think it should be possible to save it permanently to a preset?

    A Preset is for a tool. A Style for more than one tool. (I.e. Multiple Presets).

    Tools do not include mask information.
