Removing unused keywords/tags

    There is no function for this in C1, I think as a workaround it only remains to export the keyword library, delete the unnecessary keywords and subsequent import of the revised keyword library. Cumbersome but possibly easier / clearer than doing it in C1. But I haven't done that myself yet, so I don't know how it behaves with the already assigned keywords. Best will be to try it in a test catalog or session. Maybe someone else here has experience and can report

    @Okular:

    Your way will not work well. When you import a new keyword library it will not overwrite the old one. So you have to delete the old one before. This, on the other hand, will delete all keywords of the old library out of the images' database. So you will loose your tagged keywords and have to assign new keyword again.

    I think ths feature of deleting unused keywords must be integrated in C1 to work fine. Programming this helpful feature wouldn't be a mes.

    A similiar problem is to find all images with broken links in a catalog. As with deleting keywords it should be integrated in C1 too. It's easy programming too.

    I am missing that option too.

    I think a way could be to export all fotos as a new catalogue.

    In that way all information are kept with the pictures and the catalogue meta data is rendered newly.
