TIP: Thumbnails Relics… too many of them

I have 8 files remaining in the Berghausen folder. Nevertheless, while deleted
RAWs went to the trash along all the sidecar files… except 44 the thumbnails
that means 36 relics too many. I noticed that some folders that started with say
100 captures that were culled down to say 30, all the thumbnails remained in
their place, not deleted along.

I manage to take a second to right click on an thumbnail in the browser and ask
it to "show in finder". If the numbers are right then ok. If not, I delete the thumb-
nails folder. CO will regenerate them.

I also noted this kind of behavior, intermittently, with sessions, but never gave it much attention.

As you noted, you can delete the Thumbnails folder. And by the way, you have 7 raw files in the folder, not 8, but that is not important.

BTW…

I still have to figure out why, when trashed, files will be in the
"session trash folder" in the File menu or in the "trash folder"
in the Library tool panel???
