I've previously requested a change of the default amount for vertical keystone adjustments to 100 instead of the arbitrary 80, at least as an option. It's also been requested before, 5 years ago, here.

So as not to have to set the amount to 100 manually every time, would it be possible to make the keystone amount scriptable? (Cf. this topic in 'Development and Automation Workflows - Scripting'.)

  Thank you for the post.

  Please, let me know which version of Capture One are you currently running.

  On Mac and Windows computers, the value is set to 100 by default when using Keystone Vertical in Capture One 20 (13.1.2).

  Hi Lily,

  We've discussed this before. After applying vertical keystone correction, the keystone amount defaults to 80 (this behaviour is confirmed by support).

  I use version 13.1.2.37, but this has been the case with all the versions of Capture One that I've used.

  In a reply to my request to have the default amount changed to 100, you also wrote that the default amount for vertical keystone correction is 100, but as you can see from the discussion there this appears to be a misunderstanding on your part.

  Thank you for your comment.

  The default Amount value is 100, it is set to 80 when the adjustments with the Keystone Vertical are applied.

  This case has been already forwarded to the development and product management teams with the suggestion to have the Amount value set to 100 after the Keystone Vertical adjustments are applied (as it is now for Keystone Horizontal and Keystone).

  Please, follow the updates coming with the future releases to see which improvements and changes are implemented.

  Yes, this – the default amount after applying vertical keystone correction – is what I've referred to the whole time:

  "The default Amount value […] is set to 80 when the adjustments with the Keystone Vertical are applied."
