Delete from disk not working

I'm just getting started learning C1 so any help is appreciated.

I imported files, rated them, then filtered the ones I wanted to delete. I selected all of those, chose to delete them permanently from the disk, and confirmed my choice. In C1 they all disappeared, but in the Windows folder they are still there.

What to do? Thanks

  Hi David,

  you selected all images to delete. Did you use <ALT><DELETE> really to delete from disk? Left <ALT> on Windows keyboard.

  Are you sure C1 did not create another folder with those images in it on import?
  C1 would of deleted those, leaving the other Windows folder alone?

  Thanks for your responses. It turns out that C1 did create another folder with those images in it on import. 

  Also, C1 Technical Support told me that files cannot be permanently deleted unless they have first been moved to either the Session or Catalog trash.
