Others are not experiencing this. Try explaining your workflow (catalog/sessions), what steps you use to try to bring an image into C1 and how the failure manifests itself.

@FL, I suspect the OP is a lost cause but brave and generous of you to try to engage with him.

    I don't understand that I can't even open a JPG."

    More RTFM, less whining...

You are using the phrase "Open". You do know that you have to import files into a catalogue? Sorry for asking so basic a question but it is hard to understand what you are doing with so little information.

"it is hard to understand what you are doing with so little information"

What he's doing is blaming the software for his own ignorance. Don't pander to him.

I can understand the OP, got the same issue, I started my capture one 20 this morning and it can't see even the images that imported right now(I can work with them but when I go to the containig folder C1 sees nothing), so as all other formats, and it seems to be no solution around the internet.

Where do you find the manual to be able to read it. Too many hoops to jump through with this software to get things done.

For that to happen makes no sense at all.

    Catalog or session?

Where were the images "imported" to?

If you can see them to edit them  then you should be able to Right Click on an thumbnail in the Browser (for example) and choose the "Show in Library" or "Show in Explorer" option of other equivalents of those commands.

Things may vary a little from catalog to session but the idea is the same.

Are the images in subfolders in the "containing" folder?

What is your purpose for seeing the images in the folder rather than seeing them through Capture One?

    Doug,

You have on-line links from every tool.

You can browse the Community pages, perhaps after searching for the subject you are most interested in currently. Always a good way.

Or you can download a User Guide pdf file from the appropriate link on this page.

There are several other very useful resources as well if you need them. Links in the application menus

Unless you have turned if off the splash screen that displays when loading will also point to useful support material.

Frankly your time would probably be better spent watching a few of the short Tutorial videos picking one subject that is troubling you at a time.

Use the User Guide (or on line enquiries as needed) when you get down to specific details that would not be easily covered in introductory material.
