    No.

Sorry for such a simple answer but, No.

Is this a question or a Feature Request?

It was a question.  Sorry if I picked an incorrect topic.  And thanks for the answer.  No is good enough :).

    Hi Bruce,

No problem asking the question anywhere really but I thought as I was responding I could save Lily the effort of asking you whether you wanted it to be considered as a suggestion!

I suspect that for many, many reasons it's not something that would be likely to happen - even if the two products were merged as a business. Were that to happen (very unlikely I would think) I doubt they would run with 2 products. It would not make much sense. They way they work is very different so sharing anything other than the Source image files wherever they are saved would be unlikely.

    IMO.

I suspected as much, but wanted to be certain.  I already have a Fuji-X freebie C1 program.  If I should download the full Fuji platform could I use the same C1 catalog?  Seems straight-forward but once again, it always pays to ask.  To assume makes an ass out of u and me :).  (A medical axiom.)

    Hi Bruce,

Yes the catalog should be fine.

If for any reason it is not it would not be intentional.

The only thing you would have to do is de-activate the Free version and then activate the Fuji Full version using the new activation key. (Or the full full version - they are all the same download).

The paid for versions allow you to use more than one catalogue, if you need to, or Sessions if you prefer.

You also get significantly more functionality.

There are some comparison pages and articles on the web site. Should be very easy to get an extensive list of them with a simple search and assuage any concerns.

The "assumption" thing is very well known to me, especially in the context of technical support activities with documented processes where skipped steps can prove very embarrassing. Not limited to those situations though.

On the other hand it is also very easy to irritate people (or worse) sometimes by trying to ask the simple and most basic questions that are required in order to avoid possible assumption errors but that people believe are somehow attempting to make them appear less than competent.

Assumption can be like walking a tightrope in a storm - but so can non-assumption.

    It's a human situation.

Sometimes one just has to dive in anyway.
