difference in video output
Perhaps not directly Capture One related but perhaps someone here can help out?
I have a Mac mini set up with a Razor eGPU sporting a Saphire Radeon VEGA 64 with a calibrated Eizo CS2740 hooked up to it. It's also hooked up to the HDMI of the Mac mini in case I don't need the eGPU.
What I've noticed is that when on the mini's HDMI the picture is much darker then it is on the VEGA 64. The VEGA 64 shows much more detail.
I've then created a calibration profile for the mini's HDMI, thinking it mights solve this difference but it still remains darker on the mini's HMDI.
Hooking the Eizo's HDMI up to the VEGA 64 gave me the same results as it was hooked up to Displayport on the VEGA 64, less dark than the mini's HDMI.
Now, you can see as this can be very confusing for soft proofing, it's hard to determine which one is correct?
I'm a bit desperate for an answer since I need to proof a bunch of photos and send them out to print this weekend.
Hopefully anyone can share some insights on this matter, thanks!

Hi Jan,
I won't rely on a direct HDMI connection, but would definitely do on a Display port, especially with an Eizo display.
