Synchronize folder 'import' greyed out
I recently scanned a ton of images from a photo album directly into a new subfolder within my catalog in the Mac finder. Thinking that this is what the 'synchronize folder' functionality in Capture one was about - introducing new items into the catalog, but not having to physically MOVE the images in the finder to accomplish this.
When I go to the synchronize folders modal dialog, it has an 'include subfolders, with varrious sub soptions when checked...including 'import'. Seems legit. However, when I click on this 'include subfolders' the three options nested below briefly light up an included checkmark, then instantly go greyed out. No importing occurs.
WTF? Is this a catch 22?
I am waiting on a response before I perform the obvious, albeit ridiculous dance of a) moving the entire subfolder of scans out of the library area...b) select import and point at this folder as usual....c) import, and wait while capture one sprinkles new, unnecessary files all over my computer...d)verify that these new files were created properly, with no errors (not a sure thing - over the years I have seen files get corrupted by simpler things than being copied)...e) go back to the finder, locate the scanned images folder, and move it to the trash...f) empty the trash

Brian,
Scanned as in using a flatbed scanner?
What is the file type for the results?
Are they colour or monochrome scans?
Do they meet the min and max size criteria?
Would it not be better to treat them as "Referenced" files rather than "Managed" files?
