It is absolutely absurd that they can't get this right but, then again they can't even provide a simple upgrade without losing all user settings. The fact that a user has to manually remove unused files and then manually copy needed files when doing an "upgrade" is just plain dumb. Creative Cloud does a brilliant job of syncing, upgrading and integrating across all my devices and machines. C1 is a mess in this department. Constantly digging through the system library to copy various settings and preferences from the capture station in the studio, to the retouching machine is abhorrently inefficient. Why this isn't automatic (especially with a subscription) is mind boggling and infuriating. PLEASE, PLEASE FIX THIS!

I am always copying files between my iMAC and my MacBook just to get everything the same, It's annoying! Not to mention the fear of losing every setting, So I copy the folders from Recipes, Styles, Work spaces every few weeks aside. I feel like a Linux developer... and then they offer using shortcuts.

Keep in mind that many of us keep the Photoshop subscription running, Paying twice Just for Photoshop! I pay for C1 Because it's a professional grade software as it pertains to be. But it fails in the little things.  It's very easy to just abandon C1 altogether.

    Sharon,

Thanks for submitting this, as this was the issue that I mentioned on Facebook that I was having, as I lost all of my preferences when I updated from v21 to v21.1, and had to recreate them, since I'd last saved my Workspace in June, but had since made changes to it.

It would be GREAT if Capture One automatically backed these changes up, everyone there was a change made to the user interface!

    Cheers!
