Spot removal in C1 Express for Sony?

Am I wrong or there is no provision for Spot Removal on C1 Express for Sony cameras?

I know its free, but it's a huge omission, spot removal is not an extra, it's mandatory in any workflow...

  Seems so. Pity, that makes it useless, still have to go to another program to do something that's bread and butter nowadays...

  Yes and no. I do expect to lack advanced features, but not something as basic as spot removal. I mean, I get that Express is bait for us to move to the full version, but you buy a camera, they tell you "you get a free copy of C1 Express to get the most out of its RAW files", you see the nice colours you get  but you have to either go to Lightroom or Photoshop to get the job done or cash out for the PRO version? Doesn't make sense. They could at least throw a basic spot removal tool that could work for simple stuff.

  In my case the result is I'm using Lightroom. Don't want to go back and forth from one interface to another.

  Have to agree with the OP. The lack of the spot tool does make the use of the Express version a bit impractical.

  It might be time for C1 to add the Spot tool to the Express versions, after all it is now almost redundant with the introduction of heal/clone layers so they would not really be giving much away.
