Printing with Capture One vs other software

This is a question for those who do not use Capture One for printing. Can you say why you choose to print with Photoshop, Affinity or some other software? What is it about your other software that you like more than Capture One?

  I have a Canon Pro-100 printer and the only way to use the excellent Canon Print Studio Pro plug in is in either Lightroom or Photoshop.  Hence I open in photoshop to print.

  Thanks, I have played with Image Print but am undecided at the moment. I'll give Qimage a look too.

   

  @Andy, I contacted Canon support to see it was possible and the agent showed me a way to use Canon's Print Studio Pro without Photoshop or Lightroom. It involves downloading another Canon Software and so far it works fine. Unfortunately I am traveling and away from my primary computer and I can't remember what was installed. If Print Studio is the only reason you have Photoshop then it might be worth contacting Canon support.
