C21 / Big Sur firewire support

Has anyone tried this combo?

There are reports that firewire tethering doesn't work anymore, which seems to be a C1 thing. Ss others can successfully get firewire devices to work with Big Sur, and I have even herd that Hasselblad Phocus works.

Is Phase really that shit at writing software?
