Why is it not possible to have a session and catalog open at the same time any longer?

It was very possible in v20. One could use the tilde key & command key to rotate between open windows. 

Also you can now have open just one catalog at a time! Why? 

It seems that some of the legacy actions did not make make it to the new v21!

Using Mac OS 11.x.x

    It is possible. Check in Preferences on the General tab. Is the checkbox shown selected?

    Thanks Ian! thought I had tic'd that off when I update from v20 to v21.

    So to be clear... if you want to be able to open more than one session/catalog at once, that box must be checked. If it isn't checked, then when you open another one, C1 closes the first one.

    No, you were spot on! Now with the box tic'd it works as it did in the past versions.

    Sometimes it's those little thing that cause the frustration. I had just forgotten to tic the box when setting up C1 as clean install on new computer. Everything is good now!
